The room I had definitely needed some TLC. The mattress was overly soft, which may not be great for your back, and there were cobwebs around the lightbulbs and curtains, with several lightbulbs not functioning. The bathroom also called for an upgrade. there was mold in the shower unit, and the wall tiles were missing grouting. A bit of a letdown that there wasn’t a proper welcome—had to call for access details upon arrival. It was concerning to see a dog in the dining room at breakfast, especially for someone with dog allergies like me. it feels like it could use a bit of a sprucing up.

Had a lovely two nights here! The brekkie was spot on, cooked to order just how I liked. The views from the dining room were absolutely stunning! Only hiccup was the location's bit out the way, but worth it for the peace. Defo coming back, mate!

the room was in dire need of TLC, with cob webs decorating the half-burnt light bulbs. I woudl ve been pleased to have some recognition upon arrival. Not to mention, the bathroom needs desperate upgrading, and I'm allergic to dogs, but there was one prancing around at breakfast. absoluteley, you couldn’t make it up.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The massive family room was perfect, and Jane's hospitality made it even better. After our day hiking and exploring nearby castles, the freshly cooked breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend trying the local biking paths too, they're a blast!
One downside was the remote location, which made it a bit tricky to access other amenities easily.

After a fun day of hiking with kiddo, we enjoyed the stunning garden views from our cozy room. The breakfast was fresh and filling—definitely something to look forward to each morning. Jane made our stay memorable with her warm hospitality!
My wife says that the cleanliness could use some attention.

Beautiful scenery and delightful breakfast
The location is stunning, especially with horses in the paddocks right outside. Jane, our host, was fantastic and went out of her way to provide a welcoming environment. Breakfast was plentiful, and we loved having the option to choose from a menu the night before. One thing that could be improved is the overall upkeep of the rooms. some areas showed signs of wear and tear.

I stayed in the Family Room with Garden View for 2 nights, and it was massive! Super comfy with en suite facilities and a kettle for tea. Jane was an awesome host who even helped my son find safety pins. The breakfast was super tasty and had plenty of options. The only downside was that some areas could use a little sprucing up, but overall, it was a cozy stay.
